Our "new" gazebo with the Christmas Tree Lights Switch on - yes, this was taken in December and it was a bright day, but cold --- but worth it!
These tiny images are from our entry to the Silver Salver Competition. The class title was "Norfolk Industries - Past and Present"
We chose to interpret the Wool Industry and how it funded the Churches in Norfolk. Jackie Scott made the greetings card, Gilly Spencer did the stained glass window quilt, Stephanie Coulson knitted Pearl the Knitter, Christine Bemrose made the sheep shaped savoury biscuits (try saying that after a few.......), Peg Hunter made the floral piece of wool and knitting needles.
We thought it looked great - but we were biased and not the judges - we did, however, get positive comments and good marks (just not enough to win)
The Birthday Party 2016 - All the Fun of the Fair
So as you can see you could win a goldfish (!), have a go with a human fruit machine, play shove halfpenny and lots more. It was a really good fun evening, which we added to by enjoying hot dogs and popcorn - who says only kids can have fun!!!
